Updates are now available for Backlight, and the Cart and Client Response Add-ons. These updates bring a number of improvements to overall functionality, as detailed below.
To update, look for download links to arrive via email. Else you may have your downloads resent from here.
Take note, Backlight 1.0.5 Release 2 will continue to display as “1.0.5” after the upgrade. The downloaded file names will display the version, i.e. Backlight-Pages-105-Release2.zip.
Backlight 1.0.5 Release 2
- Improves support for responsive cart listing page
- Improves layout in IE 11
- Removes “Floating” option from Masthead Location setting, as redundant
To update to Backlight 1.0.5 Release 2:
IMPORTANT: Do NOT replace the entire backlight directory! Doing so will remove ALL data and settings!
Remove and re-upload the following directories:
- backlight/modules/okapi-core/
- backlight/modules/standard-page/
Clear the Designer Template Cache by visiting Backlight -> Designer -> Templates -> Clear Template Cache
Cart 4.0.2 Add-on
- Improves responsiveness of cart listing page
- Adds new PayPal countries: China for USD customers, and Netherlands Antilles
- Fixes ordering of products in purchase dialogue
- Fixes pre-selected cart options on editing item in cart
- Improves database connections with support for caching connections
To update to Cart 4.0.2:
Remove and re-upload the following directory:
- backlight/modules/module-cart/
Visit Cart within Backlight to complete database upgrade
Client Response 7.0.2 Add-on
- Updates JavaScript for compatibility with jQuery 3.1
- Improves database connections with support for caching connections
To update to Client Response 7.0.2:
Remove and re-upload the following directory:
- backlight/modules/module-client-response/
Visit Client Response within Backlight to complete database upgrade
